I'm a Latvian/British photographer, based in London.
I work across genres, focusing on subjects that are close to my heart - feminist and gender issues and urban nature. I grew up in one of Europe's least densely populated countries, so my projects often explore the importance of space and place.
Before embarking on a career in photography, I worked in PR for ten years, so have a unique mix of experience in telling stories through words and images. I graduated with Distinction in photography (Graduate Diploma Photography) from London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, in 2020.
I have worked on a variety of shoots on location and in studio, working with DSLR systems and Capture One/ Adobe suite. I also have experience using medium format cameras. Lighting knowledge includes Profoto, Bowens and Godox. Photographers worked with: Dean Belcher, Michael Heffernan, Ian Jacko Jackson, Sara Davidmann.
